Aboriginal Languages of the Whole Damn World

Everywhere there are people, there were originally other people who basically got kicked out when the former people came along and decided they wanted to live there, instead. The new people invariably brought their own languages and customs and deemed them far superior. As a result, aboriginal languages throughout the world are among the most endangered of all. Some have experienced revivals in the last few decades, but others are rapidly drifting into oblivion as their last few speakers inevitably disappear from the world of the living.
